It is a bit of a standing joke with my husband and I that after every wedding I come home and he asks “How was it? How were the bride and groom?” and I reply “they were LOVELY”. And it’s true. Every single wedding, I am so lucky with the couples that I work with and spend their special day with. Sometimes it’s not just the couple that extend a warm embrace to their day but their immediate family too. This was so much the case with Jill and David’s intimate elopement to Loch Coruisk. With a party of 5 I enjoyed a relaxed and at times hilarious day. In the morning there had been tears when the couple thought that the weather might mean that the boat would not be able to sail. However the winds dropped and while it was still a little choppy this only served to make us giggle trying to balance on the trip home after the ceremony. The ceremony, on the shores of Loch Coruisk was personal and emotional. Jill wears her heart on her sleeve and her expressions tell the story of the happiness and extremely moving moments of the day.
