Magical elopement wedding vows at the Fairy Glen Isle of Skye

The most amazing magical elopement wedding vows at the Fairy Glen and Quiraing, Isle of Skye realised. Lily and Jason had a dream to come to Skye and affirm their marriage vows in the Fairy Glen, a mystical area near Uig dominated by Castle Ewen and full of stone circles and an intriguing landscape contained in a hidden valley.

They settled on the date of 1st April and everything was in place. Then as they flew across the Atlantic so did a storm that brought high winds, rain and hail storms to Skye. Together, with celebrant Sonja of Heart and Soul Ceremonies, we huddled and consulted and the couple took the brave step to re-schedule their ceremony for the following day. It was a gamble that paid handsome rewards. The gentle clear light of their morning ceremony and the emptiness of the Fairy Glen made the perfect setting for them to tie the knot and drink from their quaich. After the service we spent some time exploring the Glen together and then we headed off to make the most of a glorious day at the Quiraing and Staffin beach.Utterperfection
