Christina and Al brought the sunshine from their Californian wedding to the west coast of Scotland during their honeymoon for their Eilean Donan Castle, Scotland, Winter Wedding Photography. It was their dream to re-visit Eilean Donan Castle as part of their European vacation and to celebrate their wedding creating a set of beautiful wedding portraits. Adding to the drama of the location and the stunning light on the day was the wonderful car that they hired from Edinburgh Classic Wedding Cars
The couple stayed at the Eilean Donan Apartments overlooking the castle and when we met there we could scarcely believe the weather and views unfolding before us. Making the most of their beautiful Beauford Tourer we drove around the area, creating images from various viewpoints and capturing the low afternoon sunlight streaming across the mountains of Skye behind the castle. As dusk fell we arrived at the castle and strolled the grounds and interior of Eilean Donan Castle and enjoyed the ever special atmosphere of having the most beautiful castle in Scotland all to ourselves!
