Kathryn and Shawn flew to Scotland to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary. They have made a vow to renew and update their vows on significant anniversaries and I was delighted to join them and hike around the Fairy Glen. The drama of the day was heightened as a coastguard helicopter swept low over the glen then hovered to rescue an injured hiker. We held our breath as the winchman and pilot skillfully negotiated the tricky recovery.
Once quiet settled over the Fairy Glen again the couple renewed their vows with both tears and laughter. We ended the day with a visit to the Isle of Skye Brewery!
