Wild and romantic elopement and wedding photography on the Isle of Skye For those who adventure

Isle of Skye wedding photographer Knock Castle and Eilean Iarmain Hotel

Moira and Jeremy eloped (bringing a fantastic amount of friends and family with them!) from sub tropical island off the east coast of Australia to a very soggy island off the west coast of Scotland. A Humanist service held amidst the ruins of ancient Knock castle overlooking a stormy Sound of Sleat and a wildly fun reception and dinner at the Eilean Iarmain hotel (incorporating a Scottish folk group and a  Highland Games) were just some of the highlights. Creative and relaxed Moira and Jeremy involved the entire wedding party in planning and creating their day. Some foraged for flowers for table decorations on the way to the ceremony, some joined Moira in singing beautiful Torres Strait Island songs during the service, a tree was planted, the caber was sourced  – and enthusiastically tossed – cousins played music and brought photographs from across the world to share with a now scattered family. It was uniquely their day.
