Amanda and Shaun travelled from New Zealand to the Isle of Skye to marry and together we choose the most gorgeous locations for their elopement wedding day. A loch hidden in the hills looking up to the Quiraing and Trotternish ridge for their ceremony with Halde Pottinger. Then a road trip around the north of Skye for their elopement photography. The ruins of a castle that perches (rather precariously) on a cliff facing the western isles and finally as the last light fell on their day we explored the Fairy Glen. The day began with a first look outside the tiny whitewashed cottage where the bride and groom got ready for their ceremony together, over looking Staffin bay.
We spent the best day together exploring, talking about travels and laughing. Amanda said:
“Thank you soooo much for such an incredible day!! You were amazing and the photos are awesome!! Thank you so much, we are over the moon. We’re so glad the original photographer fell through as it bought us to you and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to make our day as perfect as it was.”
Serendipity at play, as so often.
