Wild and romantic adventure and elopement photography on the Isle of Skye

The Glasgow wedding of my year…

For what seems like the longest time I have been anticipating, discussing, sharing late night worries and wedding quandries about this day. I met Eilidh and Tom on twitter and via their beautiful pre-engagement photo shoot we ended up as friends over many a shared coffee, glass of wine and twitter gossip and giggling… some of my favourite hashtags over the past year have been #weddingtweet and #ragingeilidh

Eilidh and Tom married in Glasgow at the beautiful Queen’s Park Church in my much beloved south side of Glasgow on a crazy hot summer day and then moved the party down the coast to Largs. The day started with champagne, make up and flowers with Eilidh and Jen and ended on the beach with sunset, friends, laughter and more champagne.  Along the way there were beautiful flowers grown by the brimming with pride, father of the bride, emotional speeches and some pretty creative dancing! With me every step of the way was photographer Julie Broadfoot from Juliebee – it was a day of epic teamwork and many of the images here are hers.

With thanks to the wonderful team at

The Brisbane House Hotel  who went out of their way to look after two hungry photographers

and more thanks to the incredible Julie Broadfoot at

Make up by the amazing Kaeleigh Wallace

Hair by Renee and Taylor at Rainbow Rooms International

Mr McGinningle and friends at New Victoria Gardens allotments, Glenapp St, Pollokshields for the summer garden flower centre pieces (allotments open day Saturday 23 August)

Fern Flowers for the glorious bouquets

And finally fabulous music by the Easy Orchestra who also provided the sounds for Tom and Eilidh’s first date!
