This was a day that I looked forward to for simply ages. Yifei and I had exchanged many emails over the previous months as she arranged her trip to Skye for her pre wedding photography. Chinese pre wedding photography is a very special element of the wedding day yet is carried out prior to the wedding. I felt particularly thrilled to capture these highland moments that will be seen at a wedding in the Northern provinces of China many months from now.
Our morning began with hair and make up and getting to know one another before stops at Badicaul with it’s spectacular views across the sea to Skye and then a visit to Plockton with a change of dress from the happy red of the wedding day to the more formal white gown. Thanks to the Plockton Hotel for their help with a changing room! Then we drove to Eilean Donan Castle for some final shots before the couple toured the Castle as the final highlight of their journey.
