Jaleena and Michael got married in secret at home in Canada and then flew to Scotland to celebrate. I met them on their second day on the Isle of Skye to create their wedding images at the Fairy Glen. As we had chatted prior to their wedding Jaleena had told me that the couple really loved the moody images they had seen in my portfolio and Skye’s famously unreliable weather delivered perfectly! Overcast skies and the rich tones of autumn across the glen were the perfect setting for this travelling couple’s wedding photographs.
The afternoon was breezy and there were many laughs as the couple’s hair blew and swept around them, We hiked around the Fairy glen seeking out the perfect corners (and some sheep who were happy to pose in the background!) while chatting about the life, the universe and everything. Eloping from Canada to Skye turned out to be their perfect choice.
