Madison and Jordan are the sweetest young couple who flew to Scotland from Kentucky to seal their wedding vows with an intimate and truly meaningful ceremony in the Fairy Glen on the Isle of Skye. Late one blustery afternoon I met up with Rev MacDonald. It was a delight to discover that we had been at school together in Portree on Skye and time flew by as we chatted about old friends and caught up on our news.
Living in Kentucky, Madison and Jordan are very much country people and they felt really at home driving the narrow roads in the north of Skye – the peace of the rural setting and the wild landscape was just perfect for their ceremony. They choose a spot with a back drop of castle Ewan and a beautiful waterfall.
After the ceremony we wandered the Glen together chatting, sharing stories and shrieking in delight at the rainbows that appeared just for them.
