“We are so glad that you were free, we had the best time. The pictures are stunning! I cried when I saw how lovely they are and our families think they are amazing. ”
There are many additional things to think about when planning and photographing a wedding during the Corona virus pandemic. Social distancing has really impacted upon the numbers that can attend (in person), how a religious service looks and sounds (no singing), creative new ways to photograph from a distance and to create impactful images while observing current social mores. Joanna and David crossed many hurdles and navigated uncharted waters in finally arriving at their wedding day. Finally, after many iterations, plans that changed again and again they stood together on the deck of David’s parents house (August 2020) overlooking the sea on a sparkling and hot west coast summer day. Once there the worries and the stresses of the weeks and months before and we were all carried away by the romance, love and intimacy of their day.
